Marble Mechanics is an independent operation, not a franchise. Oscar Tineo founded it and still performs the restoration work personally, which means the person who looks at your stone and quotes the job is the same person who restores it. There is no sales visit followed by an unfamiliar crew.

What Oscar Restores

Every natural stone and tile surface common in Tampa Bay homes and commercial buildings: marble, travertine, granite, limestone, terrazzo and Saltillo tile, plus tile grout and natural stone pavers. Floors, countertops, showers, stairs, fireplaces, vanities and pool decks. Each stone type takes different diamond grits, different polishing compounds and different sealers, and after 27+ years the diagnosis comes faster and the mistakes are fewer.

How He Works

Restoration, not resurfacing. The stone itself is repaired using progressive diamond abrasives, so the result is permanent until new damage occurs. Marble Mechanics never uses wax, acrylic coatings or temporary shine products that wear off in weeks and have to be stripped before the floor can be properly restored later.

The polishing is done wet, which produces minimal dust. You do not need to leave your home, and most residential projects are finished in a single day.

Pricing follows the same principle. Every job is quoted after Oscar has seen it, because two floors that look identical from across the room can need very different work once you get close to them. The assessment is free and the quote is line by line before anything starts.
